Dr Kate graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) and thus fulfilled her life’s ambition of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr Kate commenced her veterinary career in the tropics of North Queensland where she had the privilege of working with small animals, horses, and native wildlife. Throughout her career, Dr Kate has also had the rare opportunity to work with exotic and zoo animals including lion cubs and macaque monkeys, and spent 2 years in the UK working at the RSPCA in Birmingham and in small animal clinics in London.

Dr Kate joined Wilston Vet in 2007 and became the Clinical Leader in 2020. Dr Kate has a passion for her patients, her clients and the profession. Dr Kate has a dedicated clientele and has become a part of her patient’s family, watching her patients grow throughout the years from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior citizens.

Dr Kate’s special interests are Small Animal Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology and Behaviour.
