HOUSECALLS
If for some reason, you are unable to bring your pet to our surgery, we do offer a housecall service.
Usually however, with pets that are ill, we encourage you to bring your pet to the surgery as we are very limited as to what tests and proceedures we can perform in your own home. If surgery, x-rays or blood tests are required, it is much more beneficial to your pet to have them at the surgery for us to examine and treat. If you are unable to arrange for transport of your pet to our surgery, we do offer a collection and drop off service. One of our nurses will come to your home and collect your pet for you and take them safely to our surgery for examination and treatment.
Housecall vaccinations are welcome and are most often available weekdays between 11 and 3 pm.
Costs of housecalls vary depending on the distance from our surgery to your home. Generally, within a 3 KM radius the cost is $91.35 for a standard consultation.
