Wilston Vet is located at 50 Newmarket Rd, Windsor (near Freedom Furniture - corner of Swan Tce and Newmarket Rd). Parking is available directly outside the surgery in either Newmarket Road or Swan Tce.

Our Staff
Our staff comprises 3 vets and 4 nurses:

Dr Meredith Brothers BVSc(hons)MACVSc
Meredith is the practice owner and works at the practice most days. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990 with first class honours. Following graduation she worked in a country practice for 2 years before heading off to work in the UK for a further 2 years. She has since been working in small animal practice in the Brisbane area. Mid 2003, Meredith branched out on her own and opened Wilston Vet. She has kept very up to date in her profession by completing her membership exams. Only a small percentage of practising veterinarians have attained these prestigious qualifications. When not at work, Meredith likes to spend time with her family (husband Andrew, daughter Rebekah, son Jacob and her dog "Mimi").

Amanda Milton V.N B.Business (Management)
Amanda is our practice manager and senior full-time nurse. She recently won the AVPMA/UNE Scholarship and is undertaking her study in Veterinary Practice Managment. In 2006 Amanda competed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business (Management) degree. After uni Amanda moved to the USA and worked at the Humane Society of Missouri. Amanda shares her home with her many animals - Angus (cocker spaniel), Jasper (maltese), Lola (chihuahua), Chole (cat) and her Parrots - Mango, Ruby, Izzy and Pepper.

Dr Anita link BVSc(hons)
Anita is also one of our part-time veterinarians and you will mostly see her around the surgery on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Anita graduated from Queensland University with honours in 1997 and has since been working in small animal practice. Anita spends much of her spare time at veterinary seminars and conferences. When not at work Anita likes to spend time with her husband Mike and their two beautiful lilac Burmese pussy cats. She has a 2 year old daughter "Elsa Anne".

Kimberley Dewar VN
Kimberley is one of our full-time veterinary nurses. Kimberley recently completed her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. She loves to spend time with her active terrier “Headly” and enjoys playing netball during her spare time.

Donna Pearce
Donna is one of our part time nurses and works at the surgery on Saturdays. Donna has recently given birth to a baby girl, Brianna. Donna loves spending time with her husband and her 3 year old daughter, Kara. Donna has an 8 year old Rottweiller, Kyra. Donna is working part time so that she can spend more time with her new baby and the rest of her family. Donna is orginally from New Zealand
but we wont hold that against her! (just kidding)

Karen Holman
Karen has recently joined Wilston Vet as a
full time veterinary nurse. She is currently studying towards her nursing qualifications. She has a special interest in surgical and medical nursing. Karen has worked in a large veterinary hospital and a mixed veterinary clinic in Brisbane. During her spare time, Karen enjoys rock
climbing movies, visiting family at Noosa and spending time with her 5 year old Border Collie 'Malachi'.
