MoreWe are taking up the Environmental Challenge. The Queensland Government (Department of Environment and Resource Management) has agreed to help 20 veterinary surgeries go through the process of becoming more sustainable. Wilston Vet has secured a place in this project.

More“Lucy” (1992-2005)
Lucy will always hold a special place in my heart. She was my first dog lovingly bought for my sister and I when I was 14.
MorePussy (199?- 2007)
You were brought in to me to be put down as your owners could not handle your “crankiness”, but I persuaded them to let me keep you. We had a wonderful 12 years together. Yes, you were cranky at times, but that was far outweighed by your loving, affectionate and beautiful personality.
You were a “one in a million cat” and will never be forgotten. Dr Meredith Brothers.
Kaspar (198?- 2002)
The little brown cat followed my sister home from the shops.
Supposedly.
MoreCanine motion sickness is the leading reason pet owners are not able to take their dogs on day trips or holidays. We encourage you to talk to us about managing travel with your dog. One in four dogs will suffer from vomiting caused by motion sickness. It can prevent your whole family from taking a trip, causing you to miss out on adventures together.
MoreWilston Vet is excited to have Dr Kate back working with us full time. Kate left the practice 2 years ago for an overseas working holiday and has finally come back to Australia (for good we hope). Whilst in the UK Kate gained invaluable experience at several busy small animal clinics. Many of you would have had the pleasure of meeting Kate in the past.
MoreWilston Vet has recently finished building a Royal Suite for pampered cats. Since opening it has proved very popular with our guests.
The suite hosts air-conditioning, a window view, a large floor space, a fancy bed and a massive cat gym as well as tunnels and toys.
