History: Hendrix was brought in one Saturday morning as his owner was concerned that he was quiet and not his normal affectionate self. Poor little Hendrix was found lying under the BBQ not wanting to move. The owner found his cat collar next to one of their dog’s food bowls and suspected that their dog may have attacked Hendrix. (Mind you, their dog is a Great Dane so that was very worrying as Hendrix is so little)

History: Ferris is a 5 months old male Maltese Poodle cross who came to us one afternoon unable to walk on his right back leg. The owner reported that just a few minutes ago Ferris had been so excited by some visitors coming to the house that he had jumped up and down on the spot. On landing he let out a loud yelp and was in considerable pain after and unable to walk on his right hind leg.

History: Waffles, a 2year old female rat, was bought in to Wilston Vet as her owner had noticed a small lump that had developed over the last 2 weeks under her left armpit. The lump was about ½ cm big and quite firm to touch.

History: Cosmo was presented to Wilston Vet after being hit by a car. His owners did not see the accident but noticed him running towards the house and then becoming lame on his left hind limb. A short while later, Cosmo was not using either of his back legs and they rushed him down to the Surgery.

History: Isabella was presented to Wilston Vet on 16th August 2009. The night before she appeared to be well, but in the morning she was collapsed, unable to stand, was shaking and seemed quite distressed.
