Pets Without Partners

Wilston Vet supports the charity organisation Pets Without Partners by providing discounted desexing procedures to these orphaned and abandoned animals seeking new homes.

Pets without Partners was formed in early 2007. The sole purpose of this group is to reduce euthanasia rates of healthy, adoptable animals that would otherwise fail in a traditional shelter environment. Every animal that comes in to their care is health checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped and desexed. When searching for permanent homes for our foster animals, they have implemented a screening program that is strictly adhered to and designed to protect them from an uncertain future. They take what they do, seriously. As a small independent self funded rescue group, they have successfully re-homed over 400 animals in the last 2 – 3 years.

Fund Raising for Pets Without Partners

Every year the staff of Wilston Vet organise a raffle to help raise money for the charity and we usually raise over $500. Here is the photo of us presenting them with the cheque. There were smiles all around!

A big thank you goes out to our clients who once again dug deep and purchased the raffle tickets. Below is the picture of Practice Manager Tabatha handing the giant cheque over to Janene from Pet’s Without Partners.
