Dr Sabrina graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 from Federal University of Parana, one of the most prestigious vet schools in Brazil, and then decided to embark on a new adventure in Australia.In order to practice as a veterinarian in Australia, Dr Sabrina was required to complete multiple theoretical and practical examinations on all domestic animal species, undertake work experience in a large animal practice, and complete an English Language Proficiency test, all over a period of 3.5 years. Whilst awaiting her veterinary licence, Dr Sabrina worked as a veterinary nurse in a fast-paced small animal general practice in Brisbane. Whilst working as a veterinary nurse Dr Sabrina learned invaluable skills and will forever appreciate the immense value of the veterinary support team Dr Sabrina’s special interests are Clinical Pathology and Imaging, and Small Animal Medicine.
In her spare time, Dr Sabrina enjoys taking her Siberian Husky Arlo on adventures, camping, gardening, and beekeeping – she now has three bee hives and an almost unlimited supply of honey !
